Danijela Lugarić Vukas is Associate Professor at Department of East-Slavic languages and literatures at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb, and the Director of the Institute of Literary Studies, where she edits Biblioteka L monographs in literary criticism (https://zzk.ffzg.unizg.hr). Her research interests include the history of Russian literature and film, comparative literature, female prose writers, trauma, memory and literature, the culture of late Soviet socialism, strategies of documentary in literature,
Russian critical theory, and postcolonial readings of post-Soviet culture. Her recent
